Who we are
We are a Spirit-filled community of Christ followers whose purpose is simple: Loving God, Loving Each Other, and Loving the Lost. Our mission is to go, love, and compel — until all of Lucedale knows.
Our Vision
- Loving God: We pursue a growing love for Christ through worship that is Spirit-led, Christ-centered, and open to the move of the Holy Spirit. We celebrate the salvation Jesus gave us through His death and resurrection, and we honor Him through timeless practices such as Communion, baptism, and prayer.
- Loving Each Other: We build authentic relationships through fellowship, discipleship, and care. From small groups to Bible studies, we create spaces where people are known, loved, and supported in every season of life.
- Loving the Lost: We are serious about bearing witness to Christ in our city, our region, and across the globe — crossing every cultural and generational barrier to share the love of Jesus.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
WE BELIEVE
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God — the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16).
God
We believe in one God, Creator of all, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ — His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and soon return as Lord and King.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit — who convicts, regenerates, indwells, sanctifies, empowers, and equips believers with spiritual gifts for ministry.
Mankind
We believe all people are created in God’s image but separated from Him through sin, in need of salvation through Christ.
Salvation
We believe salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is made possible by His death and resurrection and is available to all who repent and believe.
The Church
We believe the Church is the visible Body of Christ, called to glorify God, proclaim the gospel, and make disciples of all nations.
Resurrection & Eternity
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked — eternal life for believers and eternal separation from God for the lost.

Church of God Declaration of Faith
As part of the Church of God (Cleveland, TN), we affirm the Declaration of Faith, which includes:
- In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
- In one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
- That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary.
- That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead; that He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as Intercessor.
- That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is necessary for forgiveness.
- That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
- In sanctification as God’s standard of living for His people.
- In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart, with speaking in tongues as the initial evidence.
- In water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
- In divine healing provided through Christ’s atonement.
- In the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saints’ feet.
- In the premillennial second coming of Jesus: first, to resurrect the righteous dead and catch away the living saints; second, to reign on the earth for a thousand years.
- In the final judgment and eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
